This Vriesea is a small-sized bromeliad from Brazil that has green foliage with maroon centers and undersides. It can grow up to 8 inches bearing a characteristic red bloom with yellow petals. 

***PLEASE NOTE - very sensitive to moisture and high humidity!!*** 

Water by misting with a sprayer frequently, but do not allow the bulbous to get very wet and remain that way, otherwise this may cause the base to rot.
